The story

Leaving was the right decision and it was also the most expensive thing I've ever done. I've been in a furnished short-term rental while the divorce paperwork moves, and it ends in November. I've been approved for a small one-bedroom. I need the deposit and the first month, plus enough to buy a bed and a table so I'm not sleeping on the floor of my own place. I'm not asking for anything beyond getting started. I have a job, I have a plan, and I'd like to stop borrowing other people's couches.
