The story

Jonah is eleven and has spastic diplegia. He's been using a wheelchair full time for two years, and our family car can be lifted into only by taking the chair apart every single time — which means his mother and I are both doing it, and Jonah is doing it too. A used accessible van with a ramp would give him his independence back, and let him get to physical therapy three times a week without a two-hour logistics exercise. We've saved a third of the cost ourselves. The rest is what we're asking the community for.

How the funds will be used

A used wheelchair-accessible van with a side ramp, plus the adaptive inspection and hand controls.
